1. Inherently Flame Retardant
Protex is an inherently flame retardantproductin which the fiber resin itselfcontains the flame retardant ingredient. When the flame source is removed, Protexhas a self extinguishing characteristic inwhich combustion stops when the ignitionsource is removed immediately. Unlike FRafter treatments, there is no deterioration inflame retardancy after either repeatedwashing or normal use over time.
2. No Melt /No Drip
Protex creates excellent charring characteristicswithout melting or dripping when exposed toflame and high temperature. The char formingbarrierwill work to prevent the flame spreadand stop the burning when the flame source isremoved. As there is no melting or dripping, itensures that no potentially dangerous moltendroplets are produced which could stick to theskin and cause severe burns such as may occurwith polyester or other thermoplastic fibers.

Protex is light, warm, softand flexibe due toitsunique fiber cross-section. Protex has a uniquecrosS-sectionalshapethat imparts a soft hand. The wearingexperience is also most favorable, as it has avery nice feel when blended with natural fibers, such as cotton.
